Zorlu Center opened on 10 October 2013 on a former military parade ground at Zincirlikuyu, the result of an US$800 million land tender won by Zorlu Holding in 2007. Designed by Emre Arolat Architects and Tabanlıoğlu Architects, the 115-meter complex comprises four towers framing a central plaza covered by sloping green terraces. The development integrates retail, the Raffles Istanbul hotel, residences, offices and Zorlu PSM, a performing arts center with a 770-seat theater and 2,300-seat concert hall operated with Nederlander Worldwide.
More than 200 stores and around 40 restaurants and cafés make Zorlu the most concentrated luxury floor in Istanbul. It hosts Turkey's first Apple Store and a 10,000 m² Beymen flagship, alongside Louis Vuitton, Dior, Burberry, Valentino, Chanel and Cartier. Dining names include Eataly, Tom's Kitchen, Morini and a rooftop terrace lined with Turkish and international restaurants. Zorlu PSM's seasonal program of musicals and concerts draws additional foot traffic in the evenings.
Zorlu Center sits directly above Gayrettepe and is connected to Zincirlikuyu, with M2 metro and Metrobus access through underground passages. The complex is two minutes from the 15 July Martyrs Bridge approach, making it the most car-accessible luxury mall on the European side. From Taksim it is a 10-minute taxi; from Istanbul Airport about 40 km via the Northern Marmara Motorway. Indoor parking holds roughly 2,800 vehicles with the first hour discounted.
