Fixed taxi fare for your route in Istanbul — three vehicle classes side by side. UKOME 2026 tariff reference, bridge toll included.
How is the Istanbul taxi fare calculated?
In Istanbul the taximeter tariff is set each year by UKOME (Transportation Coordination Center) and updated according to inflation. There are three tariff classes: Yellow (Classic), Turquoise (Comfort) and Black (VIP).
The tariff has two parts: opening fare (as soon as the meter starts from zero) and per-km charge. There is also a per-minute surcharge for waiting time.
Important note: in Istanbul there is NO night tariff. If a driver says "night rate," it is a scam attempt. Bridge and tunnel tolls are however passed on to the passenger.
UKOME 2026 annual tariff — for reference; this meter does not run on our fixed-price bookings.

Pricing questions.
Does the fixed price change in traffic?+
No. The price you see at booking is not affected by traffic congestion, weather, or route changes. If the driver gets stuck in traffic, the risk is ours, not yours.
Are bridge and tunnel tolls included?+
No, they are shown separately. On routes crossing the Bosphorus Bridge, Eurasia Tunnel, or FSM Bridge they are added automatically; the calculator shows them as a separate item next to the price.
Is it more expensive at night?+
No. In Istanbul there is no official night tariff (same rate 24/7). If a driver demands extra as a 'night rate,' it is illegal — report it on our Exposure page.
How do I choose between Classic and VIP?+
Classic (yellow) is enough for daily in-city use. Comfort (turquoise) is ideal for airport + family — roomier vehicle, extra luggage. VIP (black) offers an S-Class/V-Class for business travel and special events.
Can I pay in EUR or USD?+
Yes. You can pay the driver at the day's official central bank rate. If you want a fixed rate up front, specify it during booking.
