Official İBB taxi app — yellow/turquoise/black, no surge, regulated meter.
Pros: UKOME-metered tariff, no price gouging, all three tiers, deniz taksi option, tip optional.
Cons: Smaller airport pool than BiTaksi.
BiTaksi
Largest private fleet aggregator in Istanbul.
Pros: Widest coverage including IST/SAW, English UI, Apple/Google Pay, in-app ratings.
Cons: May prompt tip; metered fare same as iTaksi.
Uber Türkiye
Yellow-taxi-only since Jan 2023 Yargıtay ruling. Active in İstanbul + 7 cities.
Pros: Familiar UI, English support, summons regulated yellow taxi.
Cons: No UberX/UberBlack. Metered tariff only.
MARTI TAG / Martı Taksi
Primarily e-scooter/moped; standalone Martı Taksi product under expansion.
Pros: MARTI Lady (female-only) option in select cities.
Cons: Coverage less consistent for taxi than scooters.
